VoiceLab is an a cappella group comprised of graduate students and young professionals in the Boston area. Although our backgrounds differ, we come together with the same purpose: to maintain the highest standards of musicality while embracing a spirit of fun and friendship, and to bring great music to our audiences.
You can find VoiceLab rehearsing every Tuesday night, when we gather to renew our love of singing and feed our fantastic friendships. We are an all-gender group typically comprised of 16-18 members of all voice parts, as well as vocal percussion. We perform a wide variety of music, all arranged by current or past group members – check out our repertoire to see our current and past set lists!
Founded in 2005, VoiceLab has its roots as a Harvard graduate student a cappella group. We have since broadened our horizons to all graduate students and young professionals in the Boston area. In pre-pandemic times, we performed regularly throughout the year on Harvard’s campus and elsewhere. From busking at Faneuil Hall, to caroling in the streets of Somerville, to fundraisers in Kendall and corporate dinners in the Seaport, we aim to please at every venue. Our recordings and performances can be found on YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, and Pandora!
We also recently released our second album entitled MARGINALLY SIGNIFICANT. Check it out on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon!
We are always looking to record new albums and travel for performances. Would you like to book VoiceLab for your next event? Contact us!
